template. Need to protect a window or door but want to be able to roam
the room freely? Then install the vertical barrier template. Need to
cover a wide area or a specific spot? Then use either the Wide Angle or
Single Spot template. Covers a 30' x 30' area when wall mounted, or a
25-ft. diameter area when ceiling mounted. Comes with a flush-mount
cover plate, mounting screws and the masking kit.

Make

The unit's powerful passive infrared and microwave sensors only activate
an alarm response when BOTH sensors detect intrusion. The unit also uses
Profile Enhanced Targeting (P.E.T.) processing to intelligently
distinguish animals from intruders, providing the utmost in false alarm
protection!
Comes with 2 field-changeable lenses. Each provides a maximum coverage
of 30' x 35' (adjustable vertically or horizontally, within the maximum
limits). The standard lens monitors all areas within its coverage area.
The included Pet Alley lens creates a low-sensitivity zone close to the
ground that will not detect pets under 2' 6" in height or under 40
lbs.
Another superior feature not found on other PIR motion sensors is the
Open Collector Trouble Output, which alerts you through the control
panel when the PIR is not functioning or has been disconnected. The
Trouble Output can be wired to an unused zone at the panel for local
display at the keypad.
The unit offers false alarm protection from fluorescent lights with its
Twin-tee filter. Other features include a patented active adaptive
technology for continuously optimized catch and stability, and an
automatic self-test routine that runs every 11 to 16 hours, ensuring
continued operation. The unit is tamper supervised and is completely UL
listed and CE compliant.

systems are good, but usually require a separate power supervision relay
to ensure proper operation. But this powerful unit has the relay built

whether you're away from home or sleeping soundly.
This unit should be connected to a home security system as the last
smoke detector of a multi-detector zone. This is important because if
power is lost to one of the smoke detectors on the zone, and no power
supervision relay is installed, the security control panel will still
"see" the end-of-the-line resistor and would not indicate
trouble. But this smoke detector eliminates that problem, ensuring that
you'll be alerted to maintenance requirements before it's too late.
