The KX-TD308 is the newest and smallest Panasonic digital phone system control unit. It is a very good value, and has some innovative features not available in the bigger systems. The price, capacity, and feature set makes it perfect for many homes and small businesses.
Blueball.gif (326 bytes) Our KX-TD308 comes equipped for 3 lines, 8 multi-line digital phones, PLUS 4 single-line analog phones or accessories. An additional 4 analog phones or accessories can be connected with the KX-TD30870 expansion module. The KX-TD30891 multi-function module adds three important features: fax detection, Caller ID, and automated attendant ("press 2 for Charlie.") It can be used with one KX-T30865 door intercom speaker, but does not require an add-on circuit module to make the door intercom work

The KX-TA624 is a new  Panasonic analog phone system control unit.  Installation is very simple, because all connections use standard modular jacks. Unlike the digital systems, it can not be programmed or backed-up with a PC, and does not provide eXtra Device Ports.
Blueball.gif (326 bytes) The 624 may be a better choice than digital for the following reasons: (1) you need more than one door intercom speaker (on KX-TD308). (2) You need lots of inexpensive multi-line phones. (3) You need the highest possible speed for modems going through the system. (4) You want a very easy upgrade from an older analog 308 or 616 system.
Blueball.gif (326 bytes) The KX-TA624 is initially equipped to handle three lines and eight phones. The KX-TA62470 module adds capacity for eight more phones. The KX-TA62477 module adds capacity for eight phones plus three lines. (You can use just one of each type module.)  Caller ID for three lines is provided by the KX-TA62493 module. The KX-TA62460 module provides door intercom operation for up to four KX-T30865 speakers
